The more a failing drive is written to, the less there is left to recover. If your computer is making clicking or grinding noises, shut it down and leave it off until we have looked at it.
A hardware fault can stop the computer starting while the files themselves are still intact on the drive.
Malware can hide, rename or lock files. We work on the drive separately from the infected system.

1. Free inspection. Drop the machine in and we work out exactly what has gone wrong. The inspection is complimentary with no obligation. It usually takes about 3 hours from drop off.
2. You get a quote first. We tell you what is recoverable and what it will cost before anyone touches the drive. Recovery work is $95 an hour.
3. We recover what is there. Most jobs take 1 to 2 days. You get your files back on media you can keep.
Data recovery is quoted before the work starts. A physically damaged drive cannot always be recovered in full.
